Tenuta Mazzolino, Noir Pinot Nero, Oltrepo Pavese, 2017

Mazzolino owns 20 hectares of vines in the hills of Lombardy, in the Oltrepo Pavese DOC. This Pinot Noir is reminiscent of some German Spätburgunder, displaying aromas of black pepper, raspberry and black cherry with a balsamic hint. In the mouth it has a juicy core of black cherry with a spicy, slightly bitter edge of pomegranate, balsam and cherry stone. A serious style with plenty of freshness.
